CODAN Split-site & Remote Control Base Station Configuration
Codan NGT Remote 2-wire Interface
Remote control configurations can only be used with NGT SR and ASR HF SSB Transceivers. It is not suitable for use with Data Modems. Two NRIs are required for a complete remote control system.

Codan NGT Split-site System - 2-wire Interface
An NGT Split-site Remote System consists of two or three sites. Each site consists of the split-site equipment listed below, in addition to the transceiver equipment.
An NGT Split-site Remote System can be used to split control, transmit and receive functions of an NGT SR or ASR Transceiver system into one of the following basic configurations:
- Codan NGT remote HF transmitter and remote receiver system (3 sites)
- NGT remote transceiver system (2 sites)
- NGT local transmitter, remote receiver system (2 sites)
- NGT local receiver, remote transmitter system (2 sites)
The systems operate with either a 2-wire (standard) or 4-wire link (optional) interface.
